<title>ICSL CUP 2008</title>

<description><![CDATA[&#160; <div><font color="#6600ff">Hey Snipers,</font> </div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div>A new introduction for the ICSL in 2008 is the ICSL&#160;CUP &#8230; </div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div>The cup has been introduced for some good fun and to give teams a chance of going for something other than the league title &#8230; It&#8217;s going to be for good bragging rights&#160;and your pockets&#160;;)</div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font color="#6600ff">This is how it will run &#8230;</font> </div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*An independent advisory or security member will be present to do the draw live on TS. They will not be associated with any team a committee member is in and they will not have access to the spreadsheet containing the list of teams and their number for the draw.</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*The independent selector will randomly select numbers between 1-16(cod1) and 1-32(Cod2) to see who will face each other</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*Each competition must start with 16 or 32 slots in order to reach a final two teams, hence there will be byes in COD2 round 1, therefore when doing the cod2 draw, the first two team numbers picked will play each other in the 1st round, everyone else will have a bye, the draw will continue to see who will play who in the second round. COD1 is straighter forward!</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*The games will run using the same format as the normal league games, 2 maps where tourney points will be scored, if it&#8217;s a tie the team with the most kills will go through, if this is tied, the team with the least deaths will go through, if still a tie, there will be a 3rd map decider</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*As the games go on I will keep an up-to-date spreadsheet which will be posted publicly for everyone to see</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*There will be a 3rd place playoff for the two semi finalist losers</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*Security members to be present to watch the games when available</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">*With regard to the dates, games MUST be played within a set period, the captains will be responsible for organizing the games in the set period, if they do not play a game, it will be forfeit and neither team will progress, unless one team shows and the other doesn&#8217;t, in which case, that team will go through.</font></font></div><br /><div><br /></div><br /><div><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2">The winning team of each cup will receive a 50% discount off their entry into next seasons tournament, a price is yet to be agreed for next years entry, however, whatever it may be 50% will be knocked off.
